Whilst make-up loving Kim Kardashian is toning down her glitzy look and opting for a more neutral beauty palette since becoming one half of Kanye, younger sister Khloe is upping her beauty ante by tweeting about her attention-grabbing looks.
By far our favourite has to be her melting Chanel inspired nails [above], which she showed off on her Twitter account yesterday. Harking back to a Nineties-esque long square nail, the design is almost gothic in appearance, albeit for those distinctive interlocking Cs on her middle fingers, of course.
So how did she do it? Looks like KK has used a clear French manicure base so that the ‘Chanel Rain’ really stands out. To recreate the Khloe Chan-ele gant mani, arm yourself with a good black nail art pen (we like WAH for Model Co) and after painting a black tip, use the pen to create dripping shapes down the nail. Although it looks like the interlocking Cs have been painted on, you can buy designer logo nail stickers (not always of an authentic nature!) which helps in the professional finish.
It’s not the first time Khloe has tweeted about her fun nail art. Only last week the brunette beauty treated her followers to a picture of her uber-short nails complete with a geometric design. Well, those Kardashian sisters have always been into their love of manis - remember their Nicole by OPI Kardashian collection of polishes?
Now Khloe has sealed her fate as part of the die-hard quirky manicure crew. Katy Perry is known for her Minx designs whilst Rihanna rocks the stiletto-ghetto nail like no other.
