Selena Gomez has been in the news a lot lately thanks to her ever-changing relationship with Justin Bieber, which is apparently on again. The young singer/actress has also been busy building her fashion empire. In addition to her Kmart partnership and fragrance ventures, she's just been unveiled as the latest celeb to collaborate on the Adidas Neo collection. Selena's style has certainly matured and she even managed to climb her way to the top of one of our recent “Best Dressed” lists.

Back in August 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, the star showed just how much she had grown up with this Gothic Julien Macdonald Fall 2011 black lace dress. Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, a metallic Judith Leiber clutch, and Brian Atwood pumps all served as accessories. A few months later at the 2011 American Music Awards, Selena shined on the red carpet in a revealing Giorgio Armani pewter satin gown with fringed sash accent. It was a flirty mixed media Ani Lee Josie dress for the 5th Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in West Hollywood this February. A pair of nude pumps wrapped up the look. This silver floral appliqué Dolce & Gabbana was Selena's stunning pick for the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party just two days later. She styled the striking gown with Stuart Weitzman heels and a Judith Leiber clutch.

The former Disney star selected an edgier Dolce & Gabbana outfit for the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles the following month. Her Spring 2012 ensemble consisting of a floral jacquard bustier top and crystal embellished skirt was teamed with an orange and pink pair of Cesare Paciotti studded heels. Roberto Cavalli's all-over sequin gold mini dress had Selena standing out up in Toronto at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards in June. She also kept her accessories gold, including those Jimmy Choo Virginia platform sandals.

She celebrated her 20th birthday in July by wearing this vibrant hot pink Dsquared² Resort 2013 dress to the 2012 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City. Lana Jewelry earrings and cream-colored Hervé Léger by Max Azria sandals completed the look. Selena was extremely busy in September promoting two movies at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. At the photocall for Spring Breakers, she was once again decked out in Dolce & Gabbana, this time in a very adult leopard print strapless dress accented by Jimmy Choo Lance sandals.

Later that night at the film's premiere, Selena went all-out in this embroidered Marchesa Spring 2012 illusion dress with tulle skirt. She accessorized with Dana Rebecca Designs earrings, a Melinda Maria ring, and a Jimmy Choo Calista Glitter clutch. She toned it down for her next film's photocall the following day. Selena promoted Hotel Transylvania in a white jacket over a Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit and added in a pair of Faith Connexion leather pants along with Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
