Queens Coronation Festival to Feature Catwalk, Custom-Made Socks

The Queen will host a fashion show at Buckingham Palace as part of a four-day festival to celebrate the 60th anniversary of her coronation, starting July 11. According to the Coronation Festival website, a section of the palace grounds will showcase the "wares of companies who have obtained Royal Warranta," including Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes and Dege & Skinner. Meanwhile, Prince Charles has commissioned a line of fancy socks made specially for the occasion by his favorite hosiery company, which is aptly named Corgi. And let's not forget — by July, the royal fetus will be a living, screaming royal newborn! This means one thing for sure: cashmere baby socks.
