Gucci pared back its ad campaign this period, heading for a type of minimalism reminiscent of Tom Ford&rsquos period at the brand name. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed types Anja Rubik and Karmen Pedaru from a straightforward grey track record sporting seems to be primarily of one colour (from what we&rsquove seen consequently considerably ). Forum customers couldn&rsquot get ample of the marketing campaign.
&ldquoGorgeous,&rdquo wrote WolkFolk. &ldquoThe minimalism of the ad reminds me of the very good old glory times of the manufacturer. Perfect way to seize the collection and the women appearance absolutely amazing.&rdquo
Kokobombon posted, &ldquoThe good aged days are back again !!! I&rsquoll just take nineties minimalism above the about -the- major opulence of recent campaigns any day of the week.&rdquo
&ldquoI think they each search extraordinary,&rdquo Psylocke commented on the models. &ldquoVery fantastic work on the hair, make-up and modifying. This is truly fantastic for a Gucci marketing campaign. I'm shocked by how they maintained to make these a big turnaround from all of the final number of many years ' campaigns and still it nonetheless appears so proper, it absolutely functions. I like this!&rdquo
Personally, it wasn&rsquot until I noticed the second impression that the throwback Gucci feeling clicked for me. In between the uncomplicated lines of the clothes and the gentle and tone of the history I got a flashback of the notorious Spring 2004 marketing campaign photographed by Mario Testino featuring Carmen Kass and Louise Pederson with a &ldquoG&rdquo shaved into her nether regions. I don&rsquot foresee this marketing campaign getting rather so scandalous, but I treasure the new &ldquoold&rdquo path Gucci appears to be exploring with this campaign and I'm curious to see much more of it.
