How To Get Amanda Seyfried's Side Swept Hair Courtesy Of Charles Worthington

We chatted with Anne Hathaway about styling up her new crop, but that doesn't mean we weren't mighty impressed by Amanda Seyfried's hair-do when the actresses rocked up to the Les Miserables premiere in London last night. The blonde beauty had swept her glossy tresses into an elegant side-swept style, which worked wonderfully with her ruffled monochrome dress by Balenciaga.

'It perfectly suits Amanda’s heart shaped face and the sweet heart neckline of her dress,' Charles Worthington told us when we were discussing the look this morning. 'It’s a romantic style that is a subtle nod to the playful tiered ruffles of her dress. Sweeping loose curls to one side is a simple way to transform an already glamorous style into a head turning dazzling red carpet-worthy look.' We couldn't agree more - which is exactly why we enlisted the legendary hairdresser to dish on his top tips for getting the look...

HAIR HOW TO

Step 1: Apply a texturizing mousse like Charles Worthington Volume Body Booster Mousse (£5.19) to damp hair before blow drying, this will add hold and make the hair easier to style

Step 2: Once dry, use a pin comb to create a deep side parting

Step 3: With a medium curling wand, take vertical sections and starting from underneath, curl small sections towards your face until you reach the top of your head

Step 4: Once fully curled gently separate the curls with your fingers and lightly spritz with Charles Worthington Brilliant Shine Max Hold Hairspray (£5.19)

Step 5: Emphasise the wave by pinning a small section (from the thinnest side) up to the side of the nape of neck

TOP TIP

Regular heat styling can damage hair, looking at Amanda’s beautiful blonde colour it’s likely she indulges in regular conditioning treatments to keep it looking so healthy. I wo uld recommend my new Salon at Home Secrets Collection Moisture Seal Intense Rescue Melting Balm. Apply for 20 minutes and wash off to reveal silky luminous hair.
