With her new television gig "Partners" set to premiere on September 24th, Sophia Bush garnered herself some added media attention by covering the latest issue of EMMY Magazine.
The 30-year-old actress slipped on a black silk sequined cocktail dress by Rafael Cennamo for the Richard Reinsdorf shot front page while dishing about everything from being "kind of" OCD to her upcoming CBS series.
Highlights from Miss Bush's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to EMMY Magazine!
On her OCD ways:
"My closet is color-coordinated by section, and I alphabetize the books on my shelf by author. With some details, I can get very type A. But as much as I am kind of OCD, I'm also a free spirit. I'm a little hippie-dippy. And I'm always looking for a way to mesh the two."
On being back in Tinseltown:
"I was on location [in North Carolina] for nine years [for One Tree Hill], away from my home, family and friends. The fact that I get to wake up in my own bed and drive to work every day in the city I grew up in feels like a luxury."
On 'Partners' being filmed in front of a live audience:
"Working on a sitcom in front of a live audience is like shooting a stage play. It's so exciting and scary – in a really good way. I get the same feeling that I get when I go skydiving and I'm inching my way out of the plane."
On the joy of creating looks for her different roles:
"One of the things I love about working on different sets is creating very specific looks for each character I play. [My character Ali's] fashion sense is very high-end and polis hed. Everything is very tailored and particular."
