She went under the knife for a life - saving bone marrow transplant treatment yesterday (September twenty ) and Robin Roberts is now commencing her highway to recovery.
According to "ABC World News" anchor Diane Sawyer, the "Good Early morning America" host was in great spirits in advance of and immediately after the surgery.
Sawyer shared, "This early morning, [Robin] received her bone marrow transplant and as some pals gathered, she explained to us as soon as once more that she knows all of you at household are watching and with her, and that fills her with strength and delight."
Prior to her transplant (her sister was the donor), Robin advised followers, " Thoughts are so powerful. You have bought to adju st the way you consider in order to change the way you feel... I experience the really like and I thank you for it. Thank you."
