She's inspired legions of overweight Americans to shed unwanted pounds thanks to her function on NBC's The Biggest Loser, but difficult -as-nails trainer Jillian Michaels has waged her own battle of the bulge because getting to be a mom.
Bringing adopted daughter Lukensia, 2, household from Haiti less than a week immediately after her companion Heidi Rhoades gave birth to their son Phoenix in Could, Michaels tells the October situation of Redbook magazine that she observed herself carrying all over a few additional pounds after her household expanded.
"I went to interview Suze Orman for The Insider, and her wife mentioned, 'You're chubby! And Suze explained, 'You search like a mommy now,'" Michaels -- who just inked a deal to return as a trainer on The Biggest Loser for this winter's season 14 -- recalls of her buddies. "I look at my body and I go: 'five pounds heavier.' But elemen t of me seriously likes it."
As she and Rhoades increase their son and daughter, Michaels tells Redbook she looks to voluptuous celebrities like Beyonce instead than stick-thin models to inspire a wholesome body picture in her kids. "We talk about role designs for her, like Beyonce, who has a additional curvaceous figure," says the trainer, who also appreciates the bootylicious singer's hot bod. "My taste has altered. I choose that search. For now, I want to search a little softer."
