There was plenty to see at Hedi Slimane's debut Saint Laurent show currently, each on and off the runway. Pierre Bergé, who often denounced the function of Slimane's predecessors Stefano Pilati and Tom Ford, sat beaming next to French " 1st lady " Valérie Trierweiler in the entrance row. On her left, seating assignments proceeded thus : Anna Wintour, Jessica Chastain, Grace Coddington, and Diane von Furstenberg. In other places, Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault rubbed bottoms with Kate Moss and Jamie Hince Azzedine Alaïa posed for photos with Carla Sozzani, and other fashion luminaries cheek-kissed, exchanged frosty glances, and or else shared oxygen.
